Thru Axle Fork

I need a 20mm TA fork...most of you know my situation so I won't go there, suggestions, I'll need to be able to change out to stiff springs, I'd prefer to stay under 500 USD.

Two words for you, big guy - Dirt Jumper. I don't know the difference between the 1, 2, and 3, but they're the only single crown I know of rated for tandem use. If they can stand up to a 400lb tandem team's abuse, you should do ok.

What about the option of a dual crown fork, or would that put me way over the 500 dollar martk?

You could rephrase that to "Is there a way I could spend a bit more for no added benefit?"

I didn't know if I would benefit from a dual crown fork...I honestly could care less.

I think a dual crown would just be more money, but you wouldn't gain anything over a DJ.
