What it is called?

Those things that I always see on pics that are wood in the wood and they are all skinney and long and you ride your bike on them. They are above the ground about 3-4 feet

you know we should have a sticky or a message that anyone signing up has to read with links to stuff like park tool and the bike slang one and im sure we could make a big list of things. i dont object to people re-posting things because the search tool is still hard to find things. and if people didnt post things that have already been dicussed then there would be less room for dicussion(elaboration) and each cercomstance is different.
