Dude if I was living in Whistler I would never be sleepy, great place, I've got a buddy who lives just off Dunbar in Vancouver, I flew out to see him a few times this winter hit up Whistler a couple times in January, but the snow was super lame, Nelson was much better in Febuary. Can you even bike in Whistler right now, I heard they are getting mad snow as of late?

Why is everyone so surprised. Hes a bmxer...a good one but lots of guys do stuff like that. Mountain bikers are just generally wimps ...in all seriousness, with how big guys go on bmxes it puts most of what the djers and street riders on mtbs do to shame.
i was hoping the current crop of mountain bikes would make park bigger. The only aspect we have is speed and potentially going huge...but as of yet most are just doing intermediate level bmx riding on big bikes.

DK Drop,
Good to see another Sasky on the forums. We started a thread a while back about favorite places in Sk. to ride. I'll bump it up so's you can have a look/add at will.
-RotD
Edit: upon further inspection, these are loafers...also, you started a similar thread that was linked to the one I was thinking of a while back. So I'll just shut up now.

It's corey martinez and it's from a video by Federal...
A longer, better quality clip was posted in the BMX section but removed at the request of a member who knew what video it was from.
Awesome clip in any case.. I should buy that video.

Freakishly good video. Makes me wonder how he does all those huge drops with no suspension and tricks when he gets basically no air.

Hey DK,
You may face some mud. Rumor has it we're supposed to get rain tomorrow. The west side of the river is mostly dry, I've been down a few times checking it out. Still a few little bits of mud, but good. The east side is taking longer as usual, as it doesn't get as much sun. If it rains, it'll be tres muddy. I hope your bike has disc if you're riding that, as I did it a few times last year and it *****ed my old school brakes.
