Winter Tire Selection in Denver?
Hey Denverites, this year will be my first winter on a bike and I would like your opinions on tires. I live in the city (Cap Hill), so I imagine that the roads won't be too bad most of the time. I mostly rode the bus last winter (my first out of the suburbs), so I wasn't very aware of road conditions. So my question is this: should I stick to slicks, put the cyclocross tires back on my Volpe, or spring for studs?
Also, how is the Cherry Creek path after it snows? I take it to school every day, but I can easily stick to the streets if necessary. Thanks.
