Calling all Denverites!: Tour de France party tonight!

At Basil Docs: on the North West corner of Holly and Florida from 5-9pm.

Watch today's mountain stage on various big screens, visit with other enthusiasts, and browse the various bicycle and accessory vendors that will be set up around the parking lot. Pizza and soda will also be available for purchase to enjoy during the race.

Free Bike Parking will be available as well.

And for those of you who are fans of Sampson bike frames, you can walk right around the corner and check out their new outlet: Cherry Creek Velo (I also think they will have a booth at the party).

If you've never had a Basil Doc's pie, don't miss it! It's the best pizza in the city.

I will be there! I live just a few blocks away and have been waiting for the Sampson shop to open. I went by there when they were just getting moved and had a sign on their door saying they were open by appointment.

Excellent! . I actually live right across the street. I will attempt to pop over tonight, but I have to be at work by 8:30 pm (sometimes working the graveyard shift really sucks), and since I'm biking to work tonight, I will have to leave by 7:30.

At any rate, it should be a heck of a lot of fun.
