Cheap and Used in Denver

Anyone have a small (i have a 29" inseam) commuter or mountain bike you'd like to part with...cheap? I'm on the lookout for something I just leave the tag-a-long bike hooked to for rides with my kids.

eta - when I say cheap, I mean really cheap ;-) $50 or under.

you might wanna check out derailer in denver, or community cycles in boulder.

recycled/donated bikes, fixed up with love and kept out of the landfill. most are pretty cheap.

full disclosure--i run the kids program at community cycles.

dunno about derailer, but CC has an earn-a-bike program where you can earn a decent commuter bike decked out with rack, fenders, lock, bell, several other accessories, for 12 hours of volunteer work. this may or may not include bike wrenching, but will most likely involve you learning something about bikes you do not already know.

check out the website for more info, or pm or email me.
