Any Denverites Planning to ride Ragbrai this summer?
Lottery results won't be out until May 1 but its never too soon to start training. I've not been out much on my bike since the first of the year - but have been running regularly. Anyone interested in starting a Ragbrai training schedule with me?
A true Ragbrai training plan should include about 600 miles of total riding, 10 pies, 14 spaghetti dinners, a case of cheap beer and 7 pooooooorrrrrrkkkkkkk chops.

I could meet up in Denver for a training ride 1 x a week (not the entirety of my training)
but would prefer Boulder

I am planning on doing 1-2 days. My friends live in Des Moines, and there is a real nice 61 mile paved rail trail (Raccoon River valley trail) that goes from West DM to Jefferson, the overnight town before the big to-do in Ames. Since that makes it easiest for friends/spouses to drop us off at WDM, we plan to do that and enjoy the 5-6 nice little towns to Jefferson, camp out, then have a friend pick us up in Ames, but not after checking out the local aActivities!
