Sad note from Grand Junction
A bicycling accident near Glade Park Sunday has claimed the life of Neil Bradford, general manager of Crossroads Fitness, friends and co-workers confirmed today.
Bradford was cycling Sunday on DS Road near the Colorado National Monument with two other friends when Bradford’s tires rubbed another cyclist’s at speeds estimated at 35 mph. All the riders were wearing helmets.

I didn't know the guy, but I've ridden that road many times.

I guess you could say I live part time in GJT...2-3 months a year. Even workout at the downtown Crossroads but I too did not know him. Still, always a sad thing to hear. My best to his family. I can't count how many times I've been over the Monument and back to Glade Park and Little Park. Always very friendly riders...be safe out there.
