new to boulder
Ay! so i'm brand new to boulder, a freshman at the university of colorado. I've been here for about two months but i still really haven't met any people to go on rides with. I ride fixed and it would be awesome to find some people to ride with on a casual or even face paced ride (given im still getting used to the altitude). That being said I don't really care if you ride fixed, single or even a road just as long as your down to have some fun. sooo if you wanna ride PM me!

Welcome to Boulder! Are you female and do you have a road bike? If yes to both, Title Nine women's cycling club is having their open house ride on Sunday. Meet at the store downtown at 10:00, helmet & road bike required, no guys sorry.
Otherwise, the Rocky Mountain Cycling Club (https://www.rmccrides.com/index.html) has rides all over the front range, their sunday ride is flatter, their saturday ride is hillier, you can join them for 3 rides before they ask you to join the club. I've seen people riding their fixies on the sunday ride.
My experience, having moved here a year and a half ago, is it's hard to find clubs in boulder that are sport/recreational rather than race oriented. Bicycle Village has a weekend morning ride (can't remember which day).

Just a random comment from some people I've met from boulder.
They are downright barbaric with their treatment of drunk drivers in Boulder county.
Don't take any risks with that.

yeah my gender is male, so that first one is out. I'm not looking for a club or anything though, just some people that would want to ride
