Road riding in Durango in November?

Can anyone comment on road riding in Durango in November or even early December? Are the valley rides still open? What about Wildcat canyon. I'm heading over there on business once in mid-November and once in early December and want to know if I should bring my road bike? Thanks! Rebscott

Freak storms are possible, but mid-November should still be OK, And the odds are still good in early Dec,

Go downriver, not up. Riding out towards Aztec, Ignacio, etc. would be far better than trying to go up towards Silverton
