Looks like it closed already. Last year was a record at January 11th. This is incredible.

I think it has turned into quite a destination ride. There are people on the forum lamenting the close-out because they already have travel plans. They just don't realize how much good riding there is to be done here and that one gets attention.

Yeah, and I just found out the people I was supposed to ride with didn't make it in. They were up in the mountains doing some skiing and thought they would register today.
Oh well, we would only be together for the commutes anyway because of different riding speeds.

In 2006 (edit, oops, 2007) I bought a registration off Craiglist 3 weeks before the event. That was the last year they allowed official transfers. Did anyone buy a registration last year, and know if there are any problems with just riding under someone else's registration? Do you have to pick up an armband day-of-event, or is it in the packet?

Do the Copper Triangle instead. Not as long, but arguably as --or more-- scenic.... https://coppertriangle.com/

Triple bypass registration
Last year i purchased one on e-bay, I also noticed qute a few on CL prior to the ride, the only problem would be the jersey exchange which can only be done one day midweek at inconvient hours, after you have picked up the registrants packet.
I also missed out again this year, due to being out of town skiing, thinking that I would sign up on the 5th as well.
So I am in the market to purchase someones packet for cash if you can't make it, I am in Co Springs.
Thanks,

Last year there was talk of organizing our own ride along the Triple Bypass route on a different day... ended up fizzling out, but perhaps there would be more interest this year?
