Bike Rentals - Denver

Hi guys,
I've got a friend coming to town, and is interested in renting a bike while he is here to do some training. He's a competitive triathlete, and accustomed to very expensive tri-bikes. I'm wondering if there is anywhere he can rent a decent tri bike, or even a road bike, as it would be much less pricey than traveling via airline with his.

Thoughts?

Dunno about Denver, but there are few here in the republic.

University Bikes
Boulder Bikesmith
Bicycle Village (several locations, some nearer you)

FYI, Southwest Airlines still charges $50 each way for a bike. I think all the other ones are staggeringly expensive.

thanks valygrl! I will look into those.

My friend will only be here for a few days, so its a tossup if he flies his bike out or rents one. Sounds like he got on board with southwest, and is planning on bringing his "beater bike" though.

Don't mean to be snarky but Google is your friend Google 'bicycle rentals denver" and these pop out

http://www.derbybicyclecenter.com/rental_bikes.htm

And several others. You may have to hunt around on their websites for the rentals.
