Help with stolen bike in Denver?
 

Hope this is the appropriate place to post this. We had a men's Cannondale six13 stolen in Centennial this weekend from our garage. Filed a police report, but we don't have a serial number. (Lesson learned. We have spent the morning photographing and cataloging everything else.)

We're pretty sure the thieves don't know a thing about bikes, as they left more expensive components which were right beside this. The Cannondale was in a bike box and pretty easy to grab.

The bike has a distinctive, custom paint job so it's easily identifiable. We hope someone tries to sell it, actually. We're of course checking Craigslist and eBay, and have notified a few bike consignment shops. The police don't notify pawn shops, which surprised me.

Anyone in Denver with thoughts or ideas? We're new to the area, so any information about getting the word/description out are much appreciated. Thanks.

The bike is black, with "Team Haggis" and a picture of a sheep on both sides of the downstem. Also, there are red plaid tartan stripes on various parts of the frame.

It has great sentimental value, so we're really hoping to get it back.

'judy' has been a faithful, reliable steed to me for the past 8 years. i would be totally heartbroken is she were stolen. kind of like losing a pet.
hit all the pawn shops within a 10 mile radius- there won't be that many. leave a 'scription with each, maybe offer a reward to them.
