Mount Evans ROAD opened for the 2011 season at 8 am on May 27, 2011!
The Mount Evans Road (Colorado 5) is now open 24/7 for the 2011 season. Due to snow conditions, the road is only for the first 10 miles (of 15) to Summit Lake. The top 5 miles will open when the road, parking lot are clearned and as always: WEATHER PERMITTING.

Went from Parker -> Mount Evans and back last weekend, it was a blast. 50degF at the peak, and no wind.
You still get an idea of how much snow there was
