Bikes: Had a Surly Cross Check - was totaled in recent accident. Sadly now just a Fuji Crosstown as a backup bike.

Hey guys, going to St. Louis mid October - anywhere near downtown where I can rent?

I'd like to rent a roadbike and do a local group ride while I'm there. Can't take my bike.

Thanks for thoughts!

I'm not real sure of the shops downtown, but you can check with Big Shark. If you have a car and can get out to St. Charles county I think Momentum Cycles and/or Peloton Cyclery has group rides. Again, not sure about renting though. Hitting the Katy Trail may be of interest as well. www.bikekatytrail.com

There is bike rental in Forest Park (which is in the city) but I'm not sure about downtown. Even if you can't find a group, there is plenty of good riding to be had around town.
