Show me the ropes? (Denver, CO.)

Hey all!

I've just recently arrived in Denver and am currently trying to learn the lay of the land, so I was wondering if any of you would mind riding with me around the city so I can figure it out with an experienced rider/commuter. Also, I wouldn't mind going on some road rides out west on the weekends. Any help would be greatly appreciated so let me know!

for greater denver routes pick up a denver bicycle touring club map at rei or a LBS the denver maps above are good but they basically end at the city limit

the denver bicycle touring club has multiple rides in multiple parts of the city www.dbtc.org

All the resource above are good. Also check out Great Road Rides Denver, which has 25 routes in and around the metro area. And ColoradoBikeMaps.com, a website and blog I started as an outgrowth of GRRD, a place to put up new maps and routes around Denver and Colorado. Hope it all helps. Welcome to Denver and Colorado.
