    continental divide/bakerville loveland trail

Hiya Colorado folk. Long time since I've been on here. I was just doing some Google Mapping of the Triple Bypass route and noticed this trail (in subject) paralleling I-70. It appears to be paved and striped. Would someone mind giving me some info about it? Thanks a lot!

Compared to the I-70 shoulder, the trail is obviously far less noisy, far from auto traffic, less evenly graded, narrow and twisting making it difficult to pass in a crowded event like the triple. It feels like you are deep in the woods; you see just trees, no vista of the peaks. Riding it downhill is fast and fun.

    Thanks, mje!
I'm looking forward to checking it out this year. I'm not planning on doing the Triple but, maybe doing the route before or after with a couple of friends. I alway thought the Triple did the shoulder and did not know about this path/trail. Legal or no, it's not pleasant riding on the shoulder of the interstate.

Path was completed a couple years ago, the TBP uses it now, it used to use the I70 shoulder.
