New CC Trail Speed Limit in Parker, radar enforcement

Due to an accident involving a stroller, baby and a hot shot bicycle rider, Parker is shortly posting 15mph limit signs on its 30 miles of trails, to be radar enforced.

Is there anymore info out there on what happened and where? I'm surprised that the Denver Post did not run with this since the like to stir the pot between bikes and everyone else . I ride this trail everyday and think that both sides (bicycles and pedestrians) can use some education on proper trail etiquette and usage.

On July 16th I and the rec dept are hosting a "Near70andplus" at 9:00 am in the Parker Rec Center - a "meet and greet" for older bicyclists. I will ask Hillary at that time, or if I see Justin in his truck I will ask further.

Generally, I find the peds very accommodating, but I am having more bicyclists - some with TT bikes - zooming around with no bell or warning, and going too fast. I think the major fault is bicyclists,
