Best Fitting Shop in Denver (or surrounding area)???
There are a ton of cycle shops in Denver, CO (or surrounding area) but I have no idea which one is the best when it comes to fitting? Does anyone have any recommendations of shops in Denver (or surrounding area( I should check out? Ideally I am looking for a shop that has carries a multiple brands of road bikes.
I have had lower back surgery (fused in L4-L5) so I would like to have someone help me out who has dealt with back/neck surgeries.
Appreciate any feedback.

not sure if this is still relevant as it is an old thread but Wheat Ridge Cyclery is probably the best and most knowledgable. Owned by the Kiefel family for close to 40 years (their son Ron rode for team 7-11/Motorola in the 80s & 90s and was the first American Grand Tour stage winner ever).

I have had excellent results from fitters at University Bikes in Boulder. I, too, have had major lower back surgery and other problems. I trust them comp.etely.

I had a medical fitting recently with Doctor Andy Pruitt at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine. With the medical issues you cite, he'd be a great choice. You'll come out with a list of critical dimensions for any bike you buy, you can take that to any place you'd buy a bike and ensure the bike you get can be adjusted into those numbers.

Some good feedback above. Recently bought a new Hybrid Bike (had two lower back surgeries myself; suspension fork helps with jolts from frost heaved roads, potholes, going off curbs, etc.). Had it fitted at BikeSource in Highlands Ranch. They carry Specialized Bikes (Road, Mountain, Cyclocross, Hybrids, Commuters, etc.). I was fitted the old-fashioned way since my back has recovered nicely and doesn't need any special fitting conditions. But this Shop has a dedicated Fitter (doesn't sell, just Fits full-time) who my Son has used for his Roubaix Road Bike and raves about him. They also offer a "fully computerized fitting" that analyzes posture, pedaling motions, etc. and shows best fittings for efficiency, minimizing knee and other injuries, etc. It costs $300 I think. They have a video of the process on their Denver web-site (Google "Specialized Bikes" or "BikeSource" in Denver).
