who knows if you still need any info, but here goes for nothin' -- although i got no idea where in boston to get one, but i live in dc and have one and it rocks. its not as big as some of their other messenger bags, but if you always carry a laptop the padded sleeve is really nice, and the bag holds its shape better than the other commuter bags. i don't ever use the packpack straps, but they actually give an extra bit of padding if you have a bunch of heavy crap in the bag and are riding. i also like the way the straps sit -- they're a bit different than the normal bags. just go ahead and order it from timbuktu, if you don't like it you can always return it! hope this helps. matt

I know LL Bean carry them in their store (don't know about online) and Kittery Trading Post (KTP.com) up here in Maine.
