Thanks for the post. I'm feeling better it seems....although not sure if I'm well enough to ride yet. Going back to the Doctor today to find out more, since my bloodwork should be done by now, and he should have looked at all my ultrasounds that I had done on Friday.
Yesterday I bought a nice Castelli fall/winter/spring cycling jacket and a Craft baselayer at the LBS to help cheer myself up . Got $50 off the jacket though, so that was nice....I think it was a leftover from last year, but I don't care. Has a double layer of thinsulate fleece on the front, and is windproof and highly water resistant. Should work perfectly since as long as it's windproof, I'm good to go. Now I just need a good pair of gloves, since my mountaineering ones are a bit too bulky for riding....oh, and I'd ideally like a nice HID lighting system, but am lacking $500 .

All Good news...You may not physically back on the bike but you certainly are mentally.

A friend suggested this same thing last month and I impulsively got one and it has made all the difference. This light is great.
