I just bought my first bike since I was a kid, a Specialized Sirrus. So I guess mark me down as a NYC (UES) biker!

Newbie to the forum. I'm in Long Island (Wantagh). Anyone nearby? I mostly ride the local trails - Cedar Creed, Bethpage/Massapequa Preserve but would like to try some new ones. There are some tours that the bike clubs do that I'd like to try.
I have a 6-7 yr old Diamondback but I'm looking to invest in a new one soon. Not sure what I'm getting yet though.

I am stationed here in Brooklyn. Fort Hamilton to be exact. I ride a 07 Gary Fisher (mullet) (Army Gold) and usally ride ever other day from Fort Hamilton to the Brooklyn Bridge. Any one that can give me some good route to take would be awsome. I am getting tired of the same old thing.

Wow that's quite a few riders.
Each line is 5 people and there are 17 lines + 1 so far. So that's 86 people.

Sunnyside, Queens. Please add me to the list.
I'm thinking of hitting up CP for a couple of easy laps tonight if anyone else here is up to it.

Yes, our own private century. We could all ride to Montauk, or take the train to Montauk and ride back, or we could plan a big 100-mile loop and just each donate $20 to spouses or friends who like to cook more than ride (I'm torn) to have a group cookout at the finish. If we get enough people to ride, there should be small groups for each pace.

please add me to the list as well...
I've been jogging more than riding as much in PP these days. Most of my rides are out to Floyd Bennet Field on my MTB. I'f i'm in PP i'll be on my black Specilized Allez.
I often wonder if the people passing me up the hill are on BF.

Just saw this; pls feel free to add me to the list
The wife and I would love to hook up for some local rides....we normally do a lot of out of state events but this year has been a challenge so far, so we're eager to get some in before the cold weather. We ususally go up to the Rail Trails in Westchester.
Just fyi we're doing the North Fork Century (Aug 26) and TA Century (Sept 9)
You Long Islanders should check out the North Fork, and also the Second Sight Smithtown Guide Dog Century (sept 16)

How many of you have I seen the last few weeks. I've been in the park almost every day since mid july, and I've been riding there for 45 years. I'm the guy on the Kuota Kredo, I've never seen another one in the park. There's also a guy on a red Kuota Kharma, but that isn't me. Maybe you all only see my back
