Eastern PA to Northern NY Bike Tour Idea

Hey everyone. I was planning to take some time off work to see if I could make it to Lake Placid, NY from my place in Eastern PA. I'm planning to start on June 27th and return via Amtrak on July 8th. I'm in my early twenties and wouldn't mind joining up with some similarly aged folks for some or all of the trip. I have a general route planned and have yet to decide whether to bring some light camping gear or stay in cheap motels. I'm making do with a road bike and rear panniers, so you wouldn't absolutely need a touring rig either.

Drop me a line if you're interested.

Did the Lake Placid trip from the southern part of Livingston Co. Ny. Did it two years ago. Stayed at a B and B in Sodus point and a Best Western in Watertown. Great trip, did it in three days. Rt. 3 only gains about 1200 ft. in the 126 miles from Watertown to LP.
