LANCASTER, Pa. -- Lancaster County native, and embattled Tour de France champion, Floyd Landis is coming back to the Susquehanna Valley in his ongoing attempt to clear his name.

Landis is still awaiting a decision by an arbitration panel in his doping case. While he waits, he's still raising money for his defense fund.

Next Sunday (JULY 1?), bicyclists will be able to "Ride with Floyd" to benefit the Floyd Fairness Fund. It's a 20-mile ride followed by a picnic at the Green Mountain Cyclery.

The cost to ride is $20. Sign-up begins Tuesday by calling the Green Mountain Cyclery at 859-2422. You can also learn more by visiting the Floyd Fairness Fund Web site.

Landis will also be doing a book signing at the Barnes and Noble in the Lancaster Red Rose Commons while he is in town. At this point, the details have not been released.
