Brooklyn/Bronx cycling caps

I'm sure most of you have seen these Brooklyn cycling caps:

I've been looking for a similar cap for The Bronx. I know they exist because there's a picture of a guy wearing one on the front page of the TA NYC Century website. But I can't find it anywhere. I've searched online including these forums and I've never seen them at any bike shops. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Seriously?

You realize "Brooklyn" was an Italian chewing gum that sponsored a European professional team in the '70s... it's not a borough thing. There may be knock-offs like the Bronx hat you've seen but "Brooklyn" ain't about Brooklyn, cappice?

With that in mind, buy some generic hats and take to a t-shirt printer and make your own. If you want to buy them someone else would too.

I bought a Brooklyn on ebay, link here

The picture is not great, but the hat is Great. Good quality, I got one 2 months ago here.
I got it fast and $8.23 freight included. They are usually $10.23 with freight, I got mine on sale.

Good Luck

Go up to Fordham Road or maybe down in the hub. I'll bet you can find a street vendor or a hip-hop clothing store selling them. My point being, if you want a Bronx hat, go to The Bronx.

I can't believe people have recently replied to this 2-year old thread, but...

I never did get a Bronx cap. I did learn how to sew my own cycling caps and have become pretty good at it (though I'm too busy with other stuff right now to make many of them). I've since moved to Philadelphia, so if I ever start putting graphics on my homemade caps, I might make one that says the Bronx just to satisfy that old itch of mine, but more than likely I'll do one that says Philly first.
