Highbridge Park

Bloomberg and other City officials cut the ribbon on Highbridge Park at West 167th Street at Edgecombe Avenue, today. I know about the mountain bike area but it also seems to have a new bike path and the park will eventually include access to High Bridge Pedestrian bridge, which connects to the Bronx.

Has anyone ridden this yet?

Tried this route this weekend. There's a newly striped bike (and very deserted) path that leads down to the High Bridge, Then there's three and a half flights of stairs that lead back up to the pool and Edgecomb Avenue that I know Air would enjoy But until they actually open the High Bridge it's really nothing more than a road to nowhere... well nowhere with a nice view.
