Is there a List of rides in NYC?
I know the major ones: TD 5boro, NYC century, tour de bx bklyn qns
are there any ones that i should know about, also smaller ones too

Both 5BBC (5BBC.org) and NYCC (NYCC.org) have weekly rides all around the area. I think you have to join the clubs to get access to all the rides, but you don't have to be a member to go on the rides listed on the web sites.

+1, but also check the club websites and message boards before going to join a ride as many rides get canceled this time of year due to weather.

5BBC is all free, NYCC is for paid members. Then there are the bigger ones like the three Bike New York rides (5 boro, Twin Lights, Hudson Valley, and I think another out on LI), the TA Century, Glen's rides, and Times-Up have some neat easy rides as well.

NYCC requires membership for their SIG's, but I believe anyone can join one of their group rides. You do need to be a member to see their full ride listing, though most if not all rides for the current week are posted on their home page.
