DC area road racing teams?
Hi,
I am moving to the area next week. I am a Cat5 road racer looking for a team to join. I will soon be a Cat 4 and I just want a team to meet some new people and start racing in a new area. Any suggestions on teams. If you have teams could you list the contact info for them or websites if they have them. Thanks in advance.

Will you be living actually in DC or in VA or MD? In either case there a bunch of teams in the area, but really will depend on your location.
One of the largest in the area (rides closer and in DC) is probably National Capital Velo Club. I see them in a lot of the Cat 5 races I have done this season, but would expect they have guys in call class's. They have some weekly night rides out at Haynes Point which are race systel/pace. https://www.ncvc.net/default.aspx
Some others
- DC Velo https://www.dcvelo.com/
- CycleLife (They have a team, but forget which store its from in DC)
- All American Cycles (In Damascus MD, near me)

CycleLife USA is a big sponsor of DCVelo's team, which now goes by the name DCVelo/Clean Currents.
Some others:
- Squadra Coppi (HQed in Arlington, VA)
- ABRT/Latitude (HQed in Annapolis, MD)
- Route 1 Velo (HQed in College Park, MD)
- The Bike Rack (HQed in the Logan Circle area of DC)
Those are the big players in the Cat3-5 set here in DC. There are other, bigger teams that cater to the Cat1-2 set, like Harley Davidson and Kelley Benefit Strategies.

The DC Velo Team and Coppi are good choices. Check them both out.
