Central NJ Bike Fitter Recs
I'm looking for a skilled, knowledgeable bike fitter in the central NJ area. Road bike specialist, if possible.
I know High Gear Cyclery has a fitter.
Any other recs?

fitter
I'm meeting with a guy at the end of next week who used to be affiliated with high gear. He has a good reputation and comes highly recommended. I'll let you know how it goes after my fitting.

See Jayson at Halters on Rt. 1, north of Princeton. He does a good job on general fit, and will check foot and knee alignment. Your frame may be the right size, but you could need different length stem, narrower/wider handle bars, hood re-positioning, shims, etc. The store is kinda the opposite of High Gear, but in a good way. I just got a Parlee w/ SRAM Force from Hampsten Cycles in Seattle, and Jayson got it dialed in for me.

Bernie's Bicycles in Mercercville is terrific in all respects. (please note: I am not in any way affiliated with Bernie's) - here is a link to the web site:
https://www.berniesbicycles.com/
Actually I purchased my current bike from the Bicycle Rack in Hightstown -the owner, Van Delfino, and his staff are terrific and great for all repairs, suggestions (without trying to take your money), etc. I just don't know if they actually do professional fits.
Good luck and best regards

Thanks for the recs. Ideally, I'd like to find a fitter who is not affiliated with a bike shop, so there is no sales process involved. Even if it costs extra. Thanks for the feedback thus far.
