    Northern VA fixie/track shops

    Hi all,

I just moved to fairfax, VA from CO and am shocked at the lack of cyclists and sidewalks on the roads (leave it to boulder to make cycling everywhere seem normal). At any rate, I am wanting to start riding my fixie around and need to get a new wheelset.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of any good fixie/track shops or shops that will at least carry some fixie gear that are around fairfax (county will work but preferably city) VA?

    Thanks,
    - legit

I don't know about fixies in particular, but there is Oasis Bike Works on Main Street.
    http://www.oasisbikeworks.com/
And The Bike Lane in Burke

If you ride around Fairfax City much I'll probably pass you one of these days.

the bike club in falls church. papillon cycles, not too many track specific boutiques. But lots of good shops in DC. Email me at ben at waba.org for a listing.
