Park Slope to Shore Parkway

Does anyone have a good route in Brooklyn from Park Slope / Prospect Park to Shore Parkway, and back? If I have to ride on 5th Avenue again I'm going to poke my eyes out. And I'm not that crazy about the Ocean Parkway bike path, with all those intersections.

i usually cut through the parade grounds, and go straight down rugby road which turns into e14th st. It's pretty quit and beautiful houses/neighborhood. Keep going straight the entire way, and you hit shore pkwy in sheepshead bay. you can then go over the coney island ave bridge and ride the boardwalk.

Cut across the park and then take Bedford all the way south. Once you cross Flatbush its quiet low traffic tree shaded blocks all the way down.

Take 3rd Ave. into Bay Ridge and ride the bike path by the water overlooking Staten Island. I'm not sure if it will take you to Shore Parkway but you can get to Coney Island and get a couple of Nathan's hot dogs...always a treat.
