Moving to York,PA.

I'm looking for information about road/fixed/cross rides in York. I'm closing on a house in another month and am looking to get back riding as much as I can.
All I'll have will be a fixed bike for a little bit then planning on building a cross bike to hold me over. Please let me know.
Thanks!

Did you ever make the move up to York? I just moved from York to Hanover back in September.

Yeah I finally did get up here. Still semi moving in. Where are the meet up spots for riding? I've only got a fixed gear bike for now but soon enough I'll be getting a cross bike for group rides.

I usually just did solo rides, sometimes they have group rides on the rail trail. I think there is a cycling club out in York, you may also want to check with the local bike shops, they often sponsor evening rides during the week/weekend.

In your area there is the Hanover Cycling Club, Harrisburg Bicycle Club, and Lancaster Bike Club all within a stones throw of York. Check out their websites, the HBC has a neat calender that lists all sorts of rides, regular/special/social etc.
