Anyone ever get a road bike fitting from Sunrise Tri

Just curious how the fitting went. I think the staff was pretty good when I was there, but I was wondering how well they fit road bikes and riders versus tri guys.

I have never got my road bike fitted there (or anywhere for that matter) but I did get my P2 fitted by them.

Their mechanic does the fitting, and although he is an outstanding wrench, I am not sure about his fitting skills. That is not to say that he didn't make the bike fit fine in the end, he just seemed more involved in making sure the bike was mechanically perfect than making sure I was mechanically perfect on the bike, if that makes sense.

To his credit, I haven't changed a thing on the bike in a year, and it works fine, so maybe I am just misguided in my expectations.

Just keep in mind that those guy are geared toward Triathlons and racing, so you are going to get agressive by default.

I think there might be another guy doing stuff now. The guy I saw in the fitting room looked like he knew his way around a fitting pretty well. They have another guy who was wrenching in there every time I was there. Funny think was that I walked in there looking for something aggressive and they pointed me towards the Cervelo RS, told me I would probably be happier on that than a Scott addict or something more race-oriented.

We'll see... you been out riding lately? I've been trying to get out, but have been foiled at every turn... Both with Huntington and w/Bill and your old pal.

Will is awesome. I love his shop and his attitude, but his bikes are just too far out of my range. Sunrise tri offers a 3 hour fitting free with the bike, and the bike will end up 1-2k cheaper than anything I could get from Will. Just curious if anyone has had good experiences with sunrise.

3 hour dynamic fit today. Great time. Pick up my new bike on Saturday. I will post more information in another thread for anyone interested.
