Spending a week in Concord NH this summer
In July I think. I'll have 3-5 days for day rides or day hikes, maybe an out and back camping overnighter. Ideally I'd like to do a couple days biking and a couple days hiking. Who knows I might even bring my unicycle. I have a road bike and commuter/trail bike.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I was there a few years ago. Loon Mountina had the thing where you can take the lift to the top and ride down the trails. I rented a mountian scooter called a Diggler, it was a blast. They also have bike rentals there also. There was a bike shop in town that had rides where they would take you outside the town and drop you off to ride back into town. It was a nice ride, mostly downhill, there were trails that crisscrossed the paved trail. We found a nice spot on the trail where the creek had a small waterfall where we stopped and went swimming.

I'm 30 miles northwest of Concord off I-89. We have 100+ miles of hiking, a couple of MUPS, and multiple 100s of miles of great road riding. Check out the links below to give you a small taste of what is in the area. If you need some specific suggestion for road rides, let me know what you have in mind.

Hi there - Bear Brook state park has quite a few trails which seem to have varying degrees of terrain/difficulty (i.e., more or less suitable for a commuter): https://www.bikekinetix.com/t_nh/nh_state/bearbrook.php
It's a beautiful part of the state and very close to Concord.
