Female Cyclist Arrested in UWS

Hey guys, long time no visit for me. Sorry life changes and I only get to visit once in a while. I thought this would be relevant here just as an FYI. I did a quick glance over the first page and didn't see a thread about it.

Anyways - Gothamist fully covered it, but the topic was brought up at NYCC. I guess we can lump this together with the Ticket Blitz fiasco. Read the story and you'll see how desperate the situations are getting.

The cop got scared for his safety? Sure, this woman looks like a real dangerous thug! Who is really responsible for hiring these hoodlums cops? Who protects the public from the police?

Mayor Mike should hire some of those "cool" cops who patrol on mountain bikes. The ones who like cycling, staying in shape, and being part of the community.

It's open season on cyclists.
Get used to it.
I hear they're going to enforce every traffic law during the 5 Boro
Let's see...$270 X 30,000 riders equals uhhhhh....lots of money.

As much of a bother it would be to do so, she should sue. I hope she has a bevy of witnesses.
