Looking for a sucker to rent my house in the Mid Hudson Valley
 

My current tenants completely renovated the interior of my little 3 BR barn conversion. I gave them a little break on the rent and they have saved enough to put a down payment on a home of their own and will be out before the end of May. So come June the place will once again be available: it's about 1200 feet square, in a rustic country setting of five acres between the Catskills and Berkshires, with an evergreen grove and seasonal views.

Property is on 9G but house sits way up above the highway. Roads up here in the Hudson Valley often have very little shoulder however there is equally little traffic. Have never had a problem riding my bikes around the area, in fact the people up here are amazingly supportive.

And thanks again to all those of you who have given me such nice feedback on my Hudson Valley Bike Tour. If I can't find suitable tenants for the barn by June then I'll open the place as a bike hostel, so stay tuned.

Update:

Got my suckers! Nice thing is, they are already members of the andychrist fan club (Germantown chapter) so no having to break it to them that their new slumlord lives car-free, whew.

But now my dreams of opening a bike hostel have been dashed, at least for this summer. Still own a crappy little campground next town up though, perhaps I'll let out space there to the adventurous.
