Free bike maintenance course in Manhattan?

Are there places to take free bike maintenance courses in Manhattan? If not free, for very small fees? Preferably on weekends, but I guess that's not realistic.

Thanks, 1nteceptor! Looks great. They even have "fix-your-own-bike" workshop! Have you been there? Seems I can get there via the East River bike path and turn onto Houston st.

You're welcome, no I have never attended a Fix-Your-Own-Bike Repair Workshop.
Luckily I have space and basic tools both at home and at work. But I attended a
Wheel repair seminar. I wasn't sure if I can bring my bike inside, so I took the
subway. It's a big basement and I'm guessing they'll let folks bring their rides in.
Just call 1st and ask.
