South County Trail section completed

Sorry if this was already posted about but I just discovered the section connecting southern Yonkers and Tuckaho Rd. of the Old Putnam RR trail(South County Trail)has been opened!!No more going around the streets of Yonkers heading North.Lovely stretch and seriously lightens the load especially going south.Still hit streets however in Elmsford to the North County Trail.

The VCpark portion won't be paved. It's one of the few unpaved trails within the city limits. It would be nice though if it were possible to bypas it.

Good to know that that one section is done. Maybe I will check it out this weekend.
