Bike Sundays (may 5, 12, 19, etc) on Bronx River Parkway (Westchester County, NY)

Looks like bike sundays event is on for 2013.

Bronx River Parkway closed to autos from Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers.
Location : Bronx River Parkway, White Plains, NY

Thank you, Mr. Sideburn! The county hasn't posted any fall dates. I wonder if this means there won't be any, or whether they haven't got around to it yet.

How long is the parkway? Can it be ridden in both directions as a loop ride?

The closed section is about 7 miles and it closed on both directions so you can do a loop.

...but I would recommend taking the parallel Bronx River Bikeway in at least one direction!

Hmm - you're right - there are no fall dates. In the past, weren't Bike Sundays in May, June and Sept?

Anybody doing this tomorrow? I will be at the south end at 10:00 on a cream-colored Cinelli with maroon bar tape.

Thanks for the heads-up, Michael. The heading of this thread is a little confusing, as it lists the dates for 2013, rather than this year. Perhaps you might want to start a new thread with the 2014 dates in the heading.
