Great Allegheny Passage Completed (The Last Mile Open For Riding)

It's been a long time coming, but the final mile of the GAP is open for travel. The grand opening is June 15th, but the trail is open to the public now. No more detours onto fast, high traffic roads to get into or out of Pittsburgh for that DC trip!!

Happy travels,

Denny

Excellent news! I've been meaning to take a trip out from Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle for a while now, see how I do then try to do the trip all the way to D.C.

I completed the GAP with the RTC last Thursday. Except for the pouring rain after the rain at the Eastern Contintental Divide, we had a geat ride.
