Recommend me a bike shop in NYC (for Trek bike)

Can anyone recommend me a bike shop in NYC or its boroughs that carries Trek bikes (eyeing Trek 7.4fx)? Which bike shop as the best pricing deal? Can I expect to pay below MSRP for a Trek bike or will all bike shops basically just charge MSRP? Took a look at the retailers that carry Trek from their official website and then I yelped them; almost all of them have bad reviews, so I'm not sure which to go to. If anyone of you have recs, please let me know. Thanks!

I've never dealt with them but Bicycle Habitat has a pretty good rep and they carry the Trek line. If you don't mind a short trip across the river Bicycle Workshop in Tenafly NJ is also a Trek dealer

You will only get discounts on Trek at the end of the model year. Since it's August you might start seeing some.

I've dealt with Danny's Cycles at 87th and 2nd and liked their service. They have a few other locations and carry Trek. (dannyscycles.com) Talk to Matt.

I've had almost 25 years of good experience with Arc de Triomphe Bike Shop in Queens, on Jamaica Ave. and 114th St. I know that they carry Trek bikes, though I ride a Giant. Russ is the owner -- he's actually the son of the original owner. That's how long I have been going there. Tell them that Fred sent you over. (I'm Fred, short for "Ferdinand". I might also be someone's idea of "a fred".)

Thanks everyone! I finally went with Danny's Cycles for my Trek 7.4fx. Very excited!!!!! I called around and all the local bike shops offered the same prices even if paying by cash, but Danny's had lifetime free tune-ups, so I went with them. Can't wait for the bike to arrive!
