Ceres is right at the intersection of 55 and alt 553. Manantico is sandy on the right side of the main rd, but on the left there is alot of hard packed gravel. You may have to spin trough a little sand at first, but it doesn't last. if you're goin out there on a weekend let me know and i'll show you where i like to ride. |

i got the mtb out today and went to west park, vineland area, at Maurice river. almond road (540) is closed at the bridge, water is everywhere, roads are still closed. parvin lake and all around there still is swamped. the trail near the dam on parvin-mill rd is water covered. when i ride in the back area (with those little step bridges of 1 x 12 x 36 -48 inch boards), i walk the bike over. maybe i'll see you riding on the trails sometime! tomg |

Hope to see you there (Ft Mott, Salem County) with your new bike! t as for the century, it seems like alot, but hopefully by 6/2/07, and be somewhat fit. As of having no bike now, i have just been running in the morning for 2 or 3 miles depending on how much time i have and how i feel. if i don't make it to the "get ready metric century" already made up my mind that i am going to do the bikephilly and there is supposedly another ride from the ben franklin bridge to ocean city, both in september i believe. really wanted to do the 5 borough bike ride in new york, but with no bike as of yet, will probably end up doing that next year. |
