BF Central Park ride, maybe more in the spring?

It is probably about time we all started planning a meet-up in Central Park for a BF ride. There are a few members that are pretty regular here, FBinNY, NoGlider, and a few others.

Since it is the dead of winter right now, how about in March? The weather will be starting to break, maybe we'll have clear roads. We can show off all of our improvements from the winter.

If interested, we can also do 9W or River Road if they are clear.

Waddya say?

How about this weekend? I would do central park loops or go across the bridge and go up 9W since it will very warm. I live near the Dakota.

It's supposed to hit 66 this sunday

It may well go up to 70 this weekend, but I can't do it this weekend. I'm leaving for Maui on Monday. Life's rough sometimes. While I'm there I'm going to do the ride up Mt Haleakala, 10000' of climbing from sea level to the top over a 36 mile ride. That's a 5.3% average grade, not so steep that you can't just plod up the entire way, with only a few places where it does get harder. I'll also be doing a mostly daily ride wherever I can.

If anyone is interested, just post here. I'll resurrect the thread later in the winter to organize it.

Hope you've been doing hill repeats on Perkins :-)

I might be able to make Sunday morning. Saturday (tomorrow) would be better for me.

Thanks for suggesting this, zacster. Good thing I looked at the NE section, as I don't check it often.

I did Perkins once. It is a long way for me to get there, but yes, this was the best hill for training. Similar grade.
