NH: I've done the Mt Washington Century. You think I can tackle the Kanc?
Hi all,
I've seen discussions here about the Kancamagus highway so thought I'd ask those who've done it before. Been thinking of riding it but not without sag or planned stops.
White Mountain Gran Fondo is coming up and I'm still going back and forth as to whether I do the Gran Fondo or just do Medio.
Last month I did the Mt. Washington Century that has about 6700ft of climbing and 108mi total.
According the RideWithGps, the White Mountain Gran Fondo has a total of 6800ft of climbing but starts off with 2000ft of climbing in the first 11miles on the Kanc which is what kinda gives me doubts.
Do you think that's doable based on what I've accomplished so far?
Any thoughts/advice on my predicament? Thanks in advance.
Just for reference, here are the profiles:

Just do it.
Many moons ago I did the Kancamagus Highway west to east on a 90 lb. rig. It was fun until it started to poor on the way down.
