Visitng Maine in April, riding along route 2

I am traveling to Maine on Aprl 11 and staying just NE of Bangor on Hogan Road near United Technologies.

Can someone provide me with some advice/guidance of the road riding conditions along route 2, heading east of Bangor?

Are there any mountain biking opportunities in that area?
