Nope I've never rode that trail before, but we should definitely hit it up.
Yeah its pretty coo. Its like 20 miles back and forth. I ride almost everyday after I get off work. Btw how old are u?
Im 20 years young, I stay in Hayward btw, hit me up if your ever in HWD
Aite cool. I'm 26 so jus wanted to make sure I wasn't ridin wit a lil kid haha. I'm actually from hayward. Where u from in hwd?
I live like a mile away from the bart station by sunset
Just keep in mind there is the East Bay path in Rhode Island
Woooow thas super deep. U talkin bout all the way on the east coast!
Up here on DavisFixed, but down =]
san jose isnt part of the east bay.
@joker8Baller want to ride this coming week?
Have you not been to a bike party?! There are 3. East Bay, San Francisco, & San Jose. East Bay is by far the best. Good routes and well organized. San Fran is mediocre. Poorly organized and the routes usually aren't extremely creative. San Jose is awesome because of the turn-out.
Ride fixed? Ride in the city much?
yea, I went to the one that was hosted in Hayward-where im from, and it was fun. but its mostly just a social event were you ride at a walking pace or close to one
and yea I ride fixed about 30 miles everyday. bike parties are fun but im tryna ride!!!! Like today I bombed the biggest hill In Hayward, It felt great,
I would just like to see if anyone else from the east bay would like to join me or if I could join them in their rides. and to gather information about up coming races, events, etc...
hwdxbassist. Would love to ride with some of the guys in the East Bay if I come back this summer. Otherwise, I'll be up here in Davis Fixed...
I'll let you guys know if we Davis kids are going to hit the track (Hellyer), and we can ride there =].
There are some great group rides organized on Meetup.com
Though if you plan on riding fixed in a group of riders, you won't enjoy the drafting etc since no one will want you behind them (with good reason).
Hellyer open track is awesome, bring your drops and remove brakes if you ride them. Also plan to adjust your ration or be spinning out as people smoothly glide by you!
Can't wait to attempt to race there summer! I went last summer but after I did my 3, I was never free on the Cat5 race day =[
Starting next wednesday June 1st there's finna be weekly rides meeting at Bicycle Garage in Fremont at 7-730pm organized by one of the workers there named Scott. Pretty cool dude and should be fun. Whoever can make it come thru
