Recommendations: Easy-Ish Overnighter From Oakland?
Greetings all --
So I suddenly found myself relieved of familial obligations for about 48 hours this coming weekend, and am thinking about doing some kind of credit-card overnighter from Oakland. I've been riding most of my life (currently commuting about 100 miles a week, my bike's a Surly CC) and I'm in reasonable shape, but the longest I've ever ridden straight is about 40 miles or so; this time around I'm looking at 50 miles or so each way, but could probably go a little further.
Not looking for anything super-hilly, and not looking to camp; I'm more trying to find a cool small town someplace where I can grab a few beers and a nice dinner and sleep in a hotel for about 12 hours. Basically, looking for a longer version of the ride to Point Richmond (which I've done, and was great).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Try Olema. BART to SF Embarcadero Station, ride the Embarcadero and along the Marina, cross the Golden Gate Bridge, take the various bike paths/routes through Sausalito, eastern Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Kentfield, and Fairfax, then outr Sir Francis Drake Blvd to Samuel P. Taylor Park and a wonderful bike path. From their, you can take the direct route over the hill to Olema or go the longer, flatter way around on Platform Bridge Rd and PT. Reyes-Petaluma Road to Pt. Reyes Station and then to Olema. Reverse course the next day.
That should be in the ballpark of 50 miles each way, some climbing but nothing too strenuous with one exception if you take the bike route next to the freeway between eastern Mill Valley and Corte Madera. Both ways are steep but short.
