Great Scott Bike And Walk Event 2016 (Folsom, Rancho, EDH)

In this free annual event, the local cities block off some roads to cars in the rural foothills southwest of town, 8am-2pm. There's no controlled start or timing or start-finish line. Just a nice scenic ride, whenever and however fast you like. Scott, Placerville, and White Rock roads will be blocked or partly blocked to cars, with entrances in Folsom, Rancho, EDH, and the south end of Scott Road, like last year. There are Bike Month events and tents and food trucks and stuff, at or near each entrance. This year they have added a mountain bike course in the form of the 8-mile dirt road from the south end of Scott to the town of Latrobe.
Me, SWMBO and kiddo will be on the tandem and doing the original leg, one-way from Folsom to the end of Scott. At least that's the plan at this 5 minutes!
