Bump & Grind in the SF area

It's become apparent to me that if i want to get better at racing, I need to stay upright doing things that should probably make me crash. Rubbing elbows, rubbing wheels, shoving etc.

Im not looking to get violent, but would appreciate a partner to practice bike skills. In the grass maybe?

    Let me know...

    Brian.

I'm not up for your proposal personally, but a suggestion for a little ways down the line...have you heard of the "earlybirds"? It's a series of clinics + practice races (crits) held over in Fremont, Sundays in January-February-ish each year. Very good for building Mad RaCinG $k1lz and such. Doesn't get quite that intense but does get you more comfortable riding with a pack at race pace (well, 5s anyway).

I'm no crit guy (not even a race guy at all really), but I'll probably head back over there for the next series as I found this year's very beneficial.
    Can you pass the test?

You might wish to check out the following link: http://cyclingsystems.com/clinics/basic_skills0910.html

Ah Early birds where the fun (and crashes) never end. Couldn't go this year, but last year we had a bunch of crashes in my field.
