Group Rides in Santa Rosa?
Greetings No-Cal,
I’m going to be in Santa Rosa this weekend (9/30-10/1), and am wondering if there are any group rides I can join.
I never been to the area, so I’d prefer a group to riding alone.
I'm a strong rider who holds a good line - so no worries.
I’m staying at the Flamingo Hotel on 4th Street - just east of the 101.
-Thanks

Go to the Santa Rosa Cycling Club website
https://www.srcc.com/
if you don't find a group ride to do, they have several really excellent routes shown on the left side under 10 great rides. I did the 20 miler the night before the healdsburg century and it was absolutely gorgeous!
My experience was that it was a very bike friendly place; the cars gave me lots of room and were very patient if they had to wait on a turn or something!
let us know what you do and take pictures!!

Thanks Trac, I e-mailed them, and got in on a great 80 mile group ride Saturday. Napa, Sonoma, several climbs, etc., - grape vines for days... The cycling there is spectacular, and they’re really great people too - I can’t wait to go back. Sorry, no pix this time.
